Since his debut in 2018, My Friend Christopher has released three albums, played over 120 shows in and around his hometown of Hamilton and received a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Best Children’s Album in 2023. A recipient of FACTOR, SOCAN Foundation, and recently, Ontario Arts Council funding, he is currently working on his fourth studio album and writing or co-writing songs for internationally-known children's artists. Performances at Vancouver Children’s Showcase (CFMA), Hillside Festival (Guelph), Burlington Lyrics & Poetry Festival, Telling Tales Festival (Burlington) and Festival of Friends (Hamilton) have given audiences of all ages the chance to enjoy MFC’s original, yet traditional and humorous music and lyrics. In 2025 MFC will continue to participate in the Kids’ Music at the Market concert series in downtown Hamilton for the second year with free performances for kids and families at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market. His fourth album "In the Neighbourhood", made possible by Ontario Arts Council is expected in Spring 2025.
"My Friend Christopher's music is what independent family music is all about - it's catchy, quirky and fun. It's also totally relatable. Christopher's humorous observations about family life are set to joyously delightful tunes, making his music a true pleasure to listen to."

" [Not] necessarily what you’d expect for an album for children. It’s an eclectic blend of blues, jazz, pop and more inspired by the likes of Tom Waits, Leon Redbone [and] Randy Newman."
